Serial Mist

This work, for solo piano, is a character piece that incorporates twelve-tone compositional techniques. It utilizes tone rows in a free flowing way that evokes a tranquil, mystical serenity with regard to its overall mood. Through its slow tempo and lyricism it helps one to appreciate its non-traditional harmony that gives a warm sense of atonality that is within reach of the layperson.

Serial Mist is quite accessible to pianists of varying skill levels and is a great way to endeavor past the traditional sounds of major and minor harmony and delve into atonality.
